This knapsack measures approx. 15" x 14" x 4" and is made of tarred leather with an outer flap that has a large white painted "69" on the front. The bottom and top have the remains of several straps. Interior has two folding flaps with ties at the top. The side of the box has a white "H" indicating issuance to Company H. CONDITION: knapsack is relatively solid, but the leather straps have deteriorated and are only partially present. Interior is dirty, but intact. (02-27191/BF). NON-GUN. $400-800.
